Stone Soup
We had a lot of fun making stone soup together. Each class member shared a different vegetable to add to the pot of soup. Just as the little village came together in the book, we too came together as a class community by contributing, sharing and enjoying our delicious soup together. M-m-m-m!

Our Class Pet
......Aaaaaaaaaand the winner is OREO!!
We took a class vote, and Oreo was our favorite name!
Welcome Oreo! We love watching you swim!
Our grade two pledge
Before you speak, think and be smart, it’s hard to fix a wrinkled heart.
An important lesson for us all....each student, along with Mrs. Whitney, Ms. Bommersbach, Mrs. S. and Ms. Babiuk signed our names on a band aid, and this “wrinkled” heart will stay up in our classroom all year long as a reminder to us to choose our words carefully.
Grade two heartwarming moments.....
Just a few snapshots of the little ones in action. It’s so nice to see how much they care for one another.

Be sure to tell your families all about the importance of hand washing, grade two’s! Here’s a picture to help you explain what we did!

Truth and reconciliation week
This week we spent time talking and learning about our indigenous community. We even wrote our own Land declaration.
